DAY TICKET LAKE RULES

All Anglers MUST adhere to the following rules:

  • Cars must be parked in the allocated car parks only. Please do not drive or park on the grass areas
  • A ticket MUST be filled in and paid for before fishing
  • A maximum of 3 rods. All 3 rods in the same swim only
  • No anglers under the age of 16 (unless accompanied by an adult and must fish from the same swim as accompanying adult)
  • An EA license is required to fish
  • On arrival all nets, mats and slings MUST be dipped in the disinfectant tanks provided - failure to do so will result in a ban
  • No rods to be left unattended at any time
  • No visitors or guests (unless agreed by Steven Tithecott or Mark Hooper)
  • No leadcore or leaders of any kind to be used. Tubing preferred
  • No braided mainline
  • No mainline on hooklinks under 15lb breaking strain, or .30mm (no double strength or light zig hooklengths)
  • No leads of over 4oz
  • No fixed leads (please ensure hooklinks pull free of clips, gizmos etc)
  • No bait boats or drones
  • No litter – this includes cigarette butts and tea bags – please take it home with you
  • Anglers must fish within the boundaries of each swim
  • Nets must be at least 42” wide, and all slings, retainers and mats must be of an adequate size (mats to preferably have sides)
  • No sacks to be used. Fish to be retained in a landing net or carp retainer for a maximum of 30 minutes
  • No wading or swimming
  • No nut baits of any form
  • No dogs allowed
  • Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. Please always respect fellow anglers (no swim poaching)
  • No anglers to turn up between 19:00 – 07:00
  • Carp fishing only – no fishing for other species
  • Torridge Lakes accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to any possessions. You undertake activities at this venue at your own risk
